Communities will support their local medical practices if the practices support them in turn.
We have found that a two-pronged approach works best to develop strategic partnerships:
Community Alliance
Communities involve the local Naturally Occuring Retirement Communities (NORC), faith-based organizations, non-profit groups, independent businesses, hospitals, and other local centers where patients congregate. We work with our physician practices to identify gaps in service and develop programs to meet those service needs and establish new referral sources in the process.
Our team will train an in-house employee to serve as a community and physician liaison and routinely track community activity to practice growth.
Patient Advocacy
Case workers, food pantry volunteers, and community organizers are also patient advocates in their own right. In many cases, these community leaders influence the way their community finds health care. Our team volunteers for these community programs on behalf of our local private practice clients. We also offer private patient advocacy services.
